SaskEnergy is committed to providing safe and reliable natural gas service. As a business, they are actively managing costs to keep rates as low as possible. Recently, the cost to alter natural gas service lines was reviewed and an adjustment has been made to bring charges closer to actual costs. The cost structure for this type of work has remained the same for over 12 years with no increases for customers during that time.
Starting May 5, 2025, the base rate for an alteration to a SaskEnergy service line is $2,500. Job specific charges such as boring or pavement removal will remain additional charges as part of the project costs.
