Course Overview
This course is three days of theory and practical instruction in the lab. Students will have their new knowledge tested through quizzes, worksheets, classroom written assignments, and hands-on lab assignments. They will receive a Certificate of Completion from MCAS. Topics to be covered are:
- Understanding electricity
- Series and parallel circuits
- Wiring diagrams, ladder diagrams
- Measuring voltage, current, and resistance
- Transformers
- Fuses
- Relays
- Temperature controls
- Safety controls

HVAC Level 1 is recommended prior to taking HVAC Level 2.

MCAS/Merit Member: $1500 plus GST
